Overview and Expectations
|
I teach the accelerated math class for the fifth grade. We do the majority of our work out of the sixth grade book. It is a challenging math class, but the most important element of accelerated math is Effort! As long as you do your best and try your hardest you will do an excellent job.

Important Rules! |
1. There is no such thing as a bad question.
2. If you have a question ASK someone.
3. Be responsible for your actions and your work.
4. Try your BEST!
5. Have fun!

Brief Philosophy |
I am a big believer that students can help each other learn, especially in math. I strongly encourage students to work together to figure out problems before they ask me. The class is formatted to be very student orientated. There are many days when the students do most of the talking and explaining throughout the day.
