Class Projects

Introduction:  Welcome parent and students.  The following webquests are class projects that we will work on throughout the year.  The students will learn to use the internet to research a given topic through the use of teacher selected webquests.  They will also use other forms of reporting, such as drawing, coloring, and picture taking.  At no time will the students be allowed to surf the internet on their own.  At all times the students will use teacher selected webquests to locate information and pictures.  Most likely, the work will be completed in class, yet if it is necessary to complete at home, notice will be given to you the parents ahead of time.

The purpose of these webquests projects is to familiarize the students with the internet and the process of research.  In addition, the students will learn and use the writing process.  We have many interesting things to learn this year, and I am sure it will prove to be a productive, fun year!
