The Reporter: This student will have the role of searching for information, taking notes, and practicing the skills necessary to complete the written report using Word. This person will make sure that all the elements for a well written report are included in the final paper. The main issue is that the Reporter will have to make sure that the information presented is accurate, and has no misspelled words or grammatical errors. Also this person must be familiar with using Word to type the final report. This student may ask the teacher and the media center technologist for help with Word.
Background Information: Please use the internet resources that have been provided about your spider. You may also use information from books provided in the media center.
You should also read the information contained at each site with your role and task in mind. You will become the Reporter with both spiders in mind.
Report: After you have gathered all your information, you and your group will work together to complete a presentation for the class. Each group will be responsible of for a written report about your spiders using Word. Your group may chose to create a PowerPoint presentation, a poster, a rap, or a story based on your research information.
