Hello, returning Juniors and Seniors of Reavis High School! This is an introductory course to the human body through structure and function. Students taking this class, please be prepared for many hours of studying and memorization!  The memorization part of the course is necessary to locate and name different parts of the body.  The medical field has its own vocabulary.  This would be the anatomy part of the course.  Along with the anatomy is the dissection of sheep organs.  Please understand that no animal was slaughtered only for these parts.  It was going to be processed for human consumption and these parts, instead of ending up in dog food, were saved and sold to the supply house. So, we are one more step in the recycle process.  The physiology part of the course is the function of the systems of the human body.  There will be labs demonstrating the functions.  At the end of the year, there is the trip to National College cadaver lab.  You do not have to go, however, it is good to see that all that you learn is actually applied in the medical community.

Below you will find a table with links to the various headings.  Please use your refresh button daily when you visit the homework site, it is uploaded daily.
