RULES are meant to eliminate
disruption in the science class and provide the most time-on-task for each
student. Students are expected to follow the General Rules of
Appropriate Student Behavior posted in each classroom and to act in a
safe and responsible manner in the laboratory.
-
Follow directions the first time they are
given.
-
Be in your assigned seat and ready to work
when the bell rings. Remain in your seat until I dismiss you.
-
Raise your hand and wait to be recognized
before speaking in class. Use language that is respectful of peers,
teacher and you. Do not interrupt when another person is speaking.
-
Keep your hands, feet and objects to
yourself.
-
Students are not allowed in the prep room
without special permission.
-
Students are not to disturb materials or
equipment set up for other classes. Do not touch lab materials until
given directions to do so.
-
Inappropriate behavior specifically named in
the Student Handbook will be handled according to the School
District 205 Discipline Guidelines.
POSITIVE REWARDS will result when students comply with the class rules. The
end result will be higher grades as you learn to work better together
, use
your work time more productively, and learn more with greater understanding.
